Duke returns to action Saturday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium for its final dress rehearsal in an exhibition game against city neighbor North Carolina Central.

NCCU is playing its final season as a member of NCAA Division II as the Eagles are in transition toward joining the Division I ranks.

Duke has defeated NCCU by an average of 48.5 points per game in the last two seasons in preseason exhibitions.
NCCU played a road exhibition game Thursday night at Mountain State University in West Virginia. The Eagles lost 85-70 to the traditionally strong NAIA program. Drew Johnson led NCCU with 21 points in that game.
NCCU will be playing its final season in the CIAA of NCAA Division II. The Eagles are transitioning to Division I basketball.
Eagles coach Henry Dickerson is 26-30 in two years at NCCU.
Duke is coming off a 96-45 exhibition victory over Shaw University Thursday night. Five Blue Devils reached double figures in that contest.
