Tatum, Jackson selected for McDonald's All-American game

It’s official. The rosters for the 39th annual McDonald’s All-American game have been selected and were announced Sunday night on national television.

The top 24 players in the senior class were selected and Duke has two prospects on the squad, including the very versatile 6-foot-8 Jayson Tatum from St. Louis (Missouri) Chaminade Prep and Frank Jackson, a 6-foot-4 combo guard from Highland (Utah) Lone Peak.

Harry Giles was not selected due to his knee injury this season.

Tatum, the third ranked overall prospect in the class of 2016, according to Rivals.com, will play on the East team. He is joined by several notable names including Bam Adebayo, Tony Bradley, Udoka Azubuike, Miles Bridges, Terrance Ferguson, De’Aaron Fox, Markelle Fultz, Andrew Jones, VJ King, Sacha Killeya-Jones and Kobi Simmons.

Jackson, the 10th rated prospect in the nation ,will play for the West squad and is flanked by Josh Jackson, Dewan Huell, Kyle Guy, Zach Collins, Alterique Gilbert, Malik Monk, TJ Leaf, Joshua Langford, Jarrett Allen, Lonzo Ball and Marques Bolden.

Bolden remains as the lone 2016 prospect that is on the Blue Devils’ radar for the class of 2016. He is considering Kentucky, Duke and Kansas.

The game will be played on March 30th in Chicago in the United Center.
