Record falls in Philly

It took more time than expected, but the ACC's all time scoring record did fall in Philadelphia Saturday as Duke's J.J. Redick
Temple defended Redick well the entire game, and sent him to the locker room with just two points at halftime.

The second half wasn't much more explosive for Redick, but he ultimately did reach the long held scoring mark.
Redick canned a three pointer about a minute into the second half, then made a floater in the lane about midway through the half to draw within one basket of the record.
Needing just two points for history, the needed ninth point didn't come until 1:28 remained in the game, when he made two free throws after drawing a blocking foul on the perimeter.
