McRoberts Sets Official Date, Visits with Coach K

Coach K is making the in-home visit rounds with potential Blue Devils as well as the current recruiting class. The Hall-of-Fame coach made a stop in Carmel, Ind., to visit with Josh McRoberts, the highest rated player committed to Duke in the class of 2005. During the visit, the five-star prospect set up his official visit for next month as well.
After visiting prospect Jon Brockman and commitment Jamal Boykin, Krzyzewski checked in with McRoberts. The two spoke little of basketball but rather talked about life in general.

“It was a good visit for both sides,” McRoberts said. “We are both comfortable with each other so nothing was really too forced. We didn’t talk too much basketball. It was just a good conversation. Because I’ve already made my decision, he didn’t have to try and recruit me. We just got along like you’d expect.”
“It was a chance for my family to get to talk to him because they haven’t gotten a chance to get to know him like I have.”
The 6-foot-10 forward set he will visit Durham for the weekend of October 16th and will take in a couple of practices with the team.
We will have more from McRoberts tomorrow and get his take on the Brockman recruitment.
