Thompson is honored

Frank Burlison of FOX Sports News has released his "Golden Dozen" from the summer, honoring the top twelve players in the country based on summer performances. The list is not your typical rankings as it draws from rising seniors, juniors, and sophomores.
Future Blue Devil Michael Thompson was among those who were honored, and Duke prospect Shavlik Randolph was also tabbed. However one noticable absence was the newest Blue Devil Shelden Williams, who is generally considered a top five prospect by most recruiting gurus.

Some of the top underclassmen included sophomore point guard Sebastian Telfair and rising junior Lebron James. Both have indicated that Duke will be a strong player in their recruitments, should they not bolt straight to the NBA.
