Duke freshman guard Jon Scheyer was named the ACC's Co-Rookie of the Week Monday after his performances helped the Blue to a pair of victories over Wake Forest and NC State.
Scheyer averaged 14.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in those two Duke victories.
Scheyer ranks third on the Duke team in scoring but has been the Blue Devils' top offensive threat in ACC games, averaging 16.4 points against league competition.
Miami's Dwayne Collins shared the honor with Scheyer, and Virginia's J.R. Reynolds earned the league's overall Player of the Week honor.
Collins averaged 18.0 points and 8.5 rebounds in two road games at Boston College and Florida State.
Reynolds also had a great week, averaging 23.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in home wins over Maryland and Wake Forest.
