A couple of hours after the announcement that Duke and coach David Cutcliffe have mutually agreed to part ways, one of Duke's best defensive players entered the transfer portal.

Safety Lummie Young IV entered the portal, in which figures to be the first move of a busy month with a coaching change underway.

The Anderson, S.C., native had 10 offers coming out of high school, including from South Carolina, N.C. State and Wake Forest.
