Tuesday evening represents the biggest day of the young college basketball season with four of the nation's heavyweights battling in the State Farm Champions Classic at the United Center in Chicago. Two of those four are of particular interest to Duke fans, as the No. 4 ranked Blue Devils square off with the No. 5 Kansas Jayhawks.
In addition to serving as an elite basketball game to start the season off, the battle features two of the most talked about freshmen in the nation in Jabari Parker of Duke and Andrew Wiggins of Kansas.
Aside from the highly-anticipated matchup between the two phenomenal talents, the contest will feature a host of other quality players, including the likes of Rodney Hood, Quinn Cook and Rasheed Sulaimon of the Blue Devils and Perry Ellis, Wayne Selden, Jr. and Tarik Black of the Jayhawks.
With this contest serving as a measuring stick for both teams, Devils Illustrated has decided to place the focus of its second ever podcast on Duke basketball, more-specifically Tuesday's game with Kansas.
In our second edition of the podcast Brian McLawhorn and Daron Vaught bring you some incredible insight from three of the most renowned reporters in their markets and the country, highlighted by none other than Yahoo! Sports' Pat Forde, who will talk Parker and Wiggins, Kansas and Duke in general as well as touch on the new landscape of the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Devils Illustrated recruiting analyst/expert Clint Jackson also joins us to talk about the recent offer to Chase Jeter, as well as the pending matchup between Wiggins and Parker.
Finally, McLawhorn closes out the podcast with an in-depth interview with Jayhawkslant.com publisher Shay Wildeboor.
