Slight change in Bolling's list?

Lynchburg (Va.) Brookville offensive tackle Devin Bolling has already taken an official visit to Boston College and has a good idea of what the Eagles have to offer. Now several other schools will take their turns at impressing him. Just who are those other schools?

Not long ago Bolling had things narrowed down to Boston College, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, UConn and East Carolina. While that list is largely unchanged, it's not quite the same today.

"I'm actually really looking at BC, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech and UConn," Bolling said. "You can throw Liberty in there too. I've been looking at them for a while. With them being here I've been around them a lot, and I like how their coaches do things."

While East Carolina is no longer in Bolling's top five, he did not entirely eliminate the Pirates.

UConn came by Bolling's residence for an in-home visit earlier in December, and he said coaches from Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Boston College plan on coming by once the holiday season is over.

While BC has already hosted Bolling for his official visit the Eagles are still making their interest known on a regular basis. What does he like about each of the schools remaining on his list?

"BC has just been talking to me a lot about their academics and how good their football program is. They mention how many offensive linemen they've put into the NFL and that does appeal to me. It tells me if I go there and do what I need to do then I'd have a good shot of going (to the NFL).

"Wake Forest is close to home and I've been there many times. They have a good football program, too. The same is true for (Virginia) Tech.

"UConn's facilities are just crazy. That's the main thing I like about them. Honestly I didn't expect them to be that good."

Bolling plans to take an official visit to Wake Forest on January 16 and to Virginia Tech on January 23. He does not anticipate taking all five allotted trips.
