Three-star getting his due
One of the biggest mysteries is why three-star wide receiver Noel Grigsby (5-10, 190, 4.5) from Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw hasn't received his first offer. Somebody is going to look very smart in a few years. Grigsby can play. Not only that he is already fully qualified.
Grigsby is a gritty wide receiver with the penchant of making the big play. He is one of the main reasons that Crenshaw high has advanced to the Los Angeles City Section semifinal game when the Cougars hook up with Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne.
It is only a matter of time before D-I colleges catch up with what is already known in Los Angeles circles, Grigsby can play. His recruiting has picked up of late.
"I've been talking to Cal, Washington and Oregon State," Grigsby said. "Oregon is sending me letters also."
"The schools want to see a little more of my film this year," Grigsby said. "Some schools are recruiting me for defensive back and some are recruiting me to play wide receiver. I don't prefer one position over the other."
