Fall could bring ISU visit for Wallace
With two high school teammates getting set to start their college football careers at Iowa State, West Palm Beach (Fla.) Dwyer athlete Bradley Wallace is planning to see for himself what ISU is all about. But Wallace lists two other schools as his favorites right now and rattles off an offer list that numbers five with another half dozen schools showing strong interest. Here is the first Rivals.com network update on Wallace from CycloneReport.com.
Wallace is a 6-foot-2, 195-pound standout that projects as a defensive back at the next level. And with good size already, a long-term future at outside linebacker can't be ruled out. Wallace said he's not worried about positions now, he's just trying to learn what he can about the schools who like him.
"Basically schools are seeing me as a safety or cornerback," Wallace said. "Mostly safety. I'd say Rutgers and Miami are my favorites but I want to take official visits in the fall so I don't think I will be deciding anything very soon."
Iowa State, Miami, Wisconsin, Middle Tennessee State and Rutgers are the schools that Bradley listed as having offered him so far. He said that Purdue, Mississippi State. Kent State, Duke, South Florida and Tennessee are other schools that called him or visited his school in May and seem to be interested in recruiting him into the fall.
