FSU Looking Hard at Jacksonville Safety
Former Seminole Leon Washington set the bar at Jackson High School in Jacksonville. When he signed with Florida State, the former five-star back opened the door for many Jacksonville athletes to follow him to Tallahassee. Earlier this month, FSU signed three players from the First Coast and are looking hard at more Jacksonville products for the 2009 class including 6-foot-2, 185-pound Corey Addison.
With national signing day still a little over 11 months away, the Andrew Jackson safety reports early offers from Illinois and Vanderbilt. So far, FSU has yet to offer, but they have been in contact. Most recently, he had a nice conversation with defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews.
