Defense leads Duke past Boston College

Devils Illustrated DURHAM, N.C. -- Duke's start to Sunday's 89-68 victory over Boston College had the remnants of the first meeting between the two teams.
The Blue Devils' energy level was down. Their offense was out of sync. A rhythmic flow was nonexistent. Through the first 4:15 of the game, Duke shot just 2-of-7 and turned the ball over twice.
The result was a 5-5 tie to that point in the contest.
In many ways, there was a sense the game could ultimately take on a tone that favored the visiting Eagles.
