DURHAM, N.C. -- Duke's return to the hardwood for the first time since December 20 was a success but the 90-77 victory over Santa Clara Saturday afternoon did not come easily.

The Blue Devils found themselves in a tight battle for most of the first half of action and portions of the second half before they were able to create some separation behind a total team effort that was led by seniors Mason Plumlee and Seth Curry.
