Game Preview: Virginia Tech

Devils Illustrated The Duke football team is just one step away from becoming bowl eligible for the first time since the Blue Devils played in the 1995 Hall of Fame Bowl against the Wisconsin Badgers. Duke's 5-1 start to the season is the best since the 1994 team began the schedule 6-0, and marks the most wins overall since David Cutcliffe's team notched five victories in 2009.
While Duke's strong start is reason for celebration if you're a Blue Devil fan, there's still quite a bit of work to be done and reaching the magic number of six victories will not be easy. With Virginia Tech on the docket this weekend, the Blue Devils will have to be on top of their game if they hope to pull off a win in one of the more hostile environments that can be found in the ACC.
