Duke basketball came out of the regular signing period with just one signature and some uncertainty regarding some of its coveted recruits. On __, the Blue Devils' coaching staff received big news when four-star forward Amile Jefferson announced his intentions to play his collegiate basketball for Mike Krzyzewski.

Despite having been less involved in his recruitment for quite some time, the Blue Devils re-entered their quest to land the ultra-talented combo forward. The decision to get involved with Jefferson paid off, and much to the dismay of the likes of NC State, Kentucky and others, Duke immediately jumped to the top of his list.

With Duke having not been extremely involved for much of his recruitment, there's much to be learned about the senior's abilities on the floor.
